The Cradle to Career Alliance is a collective impact effort, convening for South Central Pennsylvania. Alliance priority/overarching goals include: • Development of a regional Career Expo • Development of an Alliance Advisory/Business Education Partnership Workgroup to forward this work. • Development of a clearinghouse & “lexicon” - a common resource platform / location for sharing and understanding.

Session Focus: Job shadows. Co-ops. Internships. Work-based learning.

We hear these terms, but do schools and employers truly speak the same language? Cherie Powell, Career Coordinator and Department Chairperson at Big Spring High School, will lead us through an interactive session that builds real alignment between education and industry. We hope to see you there!
